Clear FreeLander L359 DTCs via JLR Mangoose SDD

Some customers sent emails to our engineer about what tool to read and clear Land Rover diagnostic trouble codes? Here I will guide you on how to do this job using JLR Mangoose SDD, total cost only $39.99!

Tool needed: JLR Mangoose SDD diagnostic cable and software

Vehicle model: Land Rover L359 New Freelander 2010

First of all, connect vehicle with the laptop via JLR Mangoose SDD cable.

Then double click [JLR SDD] application on the desktop to open it

Click to login

click-login

Click [continue]

Choose [Auto VIN Read]

It will read VIN and identify vehicle by itself

Above is information of vehicle, click [Diagnosis]

Choose [Powertrain]->[Engine system]->[Engine cooling], then click continue

choose-module
icon represent optional module not responding /Fitted

Then click [service functions]

Click [continue]

Choose market specification and click [save]

Then JLR SDD will load recommendations, wait for a while

Find [Clear all stored diagnostic trouble codes] and click [Run]

Click Continue and wait….

Set ignition switch to OFF and press continue and waiting…
turn-ignition-off

Then Set ignition switch to ON and press continue
turn ignition on

Choose [Session] and click to rerun data collection

session

Then choose [DTCs] option you will find the codes are cleared.

Done!
